To Create a Markup

  1. From the Primary Tools toolbox, click the Markups Dialog icon.


    The Markups dialog opens.

  2. Click the Create Markup tool.

    You need to be in the Review mode for the Create Markup tool to be activated.



    The Create Markup tool settings window opens, and the placemark tool is attached to the cursor.





  3. In the Create Markup tool settings window, select a markup name from the Expression drop-down menu and type a description for the markup. From drop-down menus, select the Priority and Status. Enter the name of person(s) or department to whom the markup is assigned.
  4. With the placemark tool, snap to an element in the review model to mark the location of the markup.

    The markup is added to the list box in the Markups dialog.

    A saved view and a 2D markup sheet are created for the selected view. A linkset is created to link the placemark element with the markup sheet.

  5. Add desired text, redlining or highlighting to the markup sheet.
  6. Save to PDF.
